Biography

Wilfried Balima is an African artist from Burkina Faso. Discreet, he prefers to let his works do the talking, without interposing between them and the viewer. He draws inspiration from his country and the people who live there to create canvases in warm colors, evoking both the human condition and the culture of the artist. A committed citizen, Wilfried Balima likes to multiply educational actions such as the discovery of visual arts by children in the capital Ouagadougou. Wilfried Balima regularly comes to France to exhibit his work.
