Biography

Zacharie Kologo lives and works in Ouagadougou, capital of Burkina Faso. He is one of those bronze workers who learned the art of bronze from their father or older brother. For a few years, this work was reduced, so to speak, to the creation of statuettes for tourists. But Zako, his artist name, is in search of progress as these first works from Zako's era 2 show us. The talent of this bronze artist is also to create sculptures to order from photographs or from the mold of a sculpture in wood or clay that we would like to see made in bronze.
